Feature article showcases the “corehaus” project as well as Hammer & Hand President Sam Hagerman’s role in the local effort to “raise the bar” in Portland’s home building community.

In “Heating your home with a hair dryer,” Portland Tribune writer Joseph Gallivan covers the burgeoning Passive House movement in Portland, describes a cool local project on Mt. Tabor, and reports on our own Sam Hagerman’s efforts to move the building industry along toward Passive House construction.  Gallivan also cites Dylan Lamar of Green Hammer and quotes Jeffrey Tufenkian, both collaborators in our joint efforts to get the Passive House standard included in Oregon’s Reach Code.
