Mackenzie and Jonah wanted to build a home addition to their 1906 home in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood that both respected the neighborhood’s architecture but also brought high performance efficiency and modern comfort. So a collaboration with architect Joe Herrin of Ballard-based Heliotrope Architects and Hammer & Hand was a perfect fit.
