Built in 1899 in Portland, OR, this historic home is a Victorian Era gem and on the National Register of Historic Places. The home was previously remodeled and the primary suite in the attic was turned into a studio apartment. We worked with Donna Dufresne Interior Design to restore the space and return it to its former glory.
The moody design of the primary suite blends seamlessly with the kaleidoscope of grays that the Pacific Northwest is known for. It features a small kitchenette that is perfect for brewing fresh coffee after rolling out of bed on a misty morning. The ensuite bathroom artfully combines modern comforts and technology with Victorian style. The wet room boasts of heated floors, a Thermasol Shower System and an air jet tub. The second floor bathroom features a whimsical wallpaper to match the antique hardware that is sprinkled throughout. The custom wire mesh faced cabinet features plenty of storage while maintaining privacy.
The space exudes a moody, atmospheric vibe that is both timeless and captivating.
