Fjällräven Seattle
Designed by Tres Birds Workshop
Hammer & Hand teamed up with architects at Tres Birds Workshop in Colorado to complete Fjällräven’s retail TI project just a block away from Seattle’s Pike Place Public Market.
For this space, white ash wood was used in custom displays, table surfaces, and fixtures made to resemble traditional Swedish axe-hewn building styles. Our Portland woodshop team collaborated with our Seattle building team to create and install large custom display cases.
Existing Douglas fir heavy timber structures and steel A-frames bring the space together, along with a corner of the store dedicated to Fjällräven’s commitment to repair over replacement featuring an in-house tailor shop. See more of this project on Tres Birds Workshop’s website.
