The client for this condo remodel is an avid traveler and Italophile whose goal for the renovation was to create a place for relaxation in between adventures. To bring the feeling of Italy to Portland, we collaborated with the JHL Design team to bring this design to life: exploring deep jewel tones, detailed woodwork, and waterfalling luxe natural stone like Carrara marble which has been quarried since Roman times. The cladding and wainscoting throughout the home were expertly installed by Moses and Carrie, and made from black walnut milled in our woodshop.
