Friday’s Daily Journal of Commerce covered the current ADU boom at Hammer & Hand and in Portland’s green building community.

Nick Bjork’s article, “Small jobs become big business”, documents the creative role that Accessory Dwelling Units are playing in Portland’s marketplace today … a breath of fresh air in a recovering economy.  As drivers of local, home grown economic development, compact urban form, and walkable/bikable communities, ADUs are increasingly recognized by clients, contractors, and the City as a win-win-win development choice.
