Rain Screen Detail 1 Layer on WRB | Hammer & Hand
  • Layer on WRB.
  • Seal sheathing to stem wall with Joint & Seam filler.
Rain Screen Detail 2 Install Vertical Furring Strips | Hammer & Hand
  • Install vertical furring to correspond with the framing method (aligned with vertical framing members).
  • Use untreated 1×4 furring.
Rain Screen Detail 3 Attach Strip of Cor-A-Vent SV-5 | Hammer & Hand
  • Attach a continuous strip of Cor-A-Vent SV-5 insect blocker at bottom of furring.
Rain Screen Detail 4 Attach Water Table | Hammer & Hand
  • Attach water table to furring.
Rain Screen Detail 5 Install Flashing Above Water Table | Hammer & Hand
  • Install flashing above water table.
Rain Screen Detail 6 Install Siding | Hammer & Hand
  • Install siding to complete the rain screen.
