New video of Hammer & Hand's Seattle project supervisor Dan Whitmore details start of construction for Ballard Passive House.

Guided by the client's concern for future generations, the Ballard Passive House, being built by Hammer & Hand's Seattle construction crew, is part of a second wave of Passive House buildings under construction in the Seattle area (see Field Notes post on Ballard Passive House here). Hear project lead Dan Whitmore describe the process of deconstructing the existing structure and salvaging materials on site as construction of the Ballard Passive House begins.
